With a capacity of more than 290,000 tonnes per annum across our three manufacturing sites in Australia and New Zealand, we are the largest refiner of edible fats and oils in Australasia.
Our range of products for use in food manufacturing include; blended and single oils, infant nutrition, bakery products, margarines and spreads and frying shortening.
We’re always looking for ways to improve our products by actively engaging the industry to provide key insights and support with our fats and oils expertise. Our team of experts can develop tailored solutions for specific customer needs.
The West Footscray site also is one of the few food manufacturing sites with a pilot plant where our team can reproduce full-scale samples under laboratory conditions. This allows our customers the ability to test and perfect their products before they go into full production.
Inside our West Footscray Manufacturing Plant
Let us take you on a quick tour of one of GrainCorp Foods Bakery Fats & Oils Manufacturing Plants. Not only does the West Footscray facility produce some of the country’s leading bakery ingredient brands and infant formula, it is also renowned as having one of Australia’s leading food manufacturing pilot plants.
We supply an extensive range of products, available for our customers, including Packed, Pallecon and Bulk products.
Packed
From retail-ready through to commercial varieties, our blends include Australian non-GM Canola, dairy blends and butter oils, Australian beef tallow, coconut oils, olive oils, palm fractions and more.
Pallecon
We have a wide range of drum and pallecon products including Australian non-GM Canola and liquid blends. We also provide solid oils such as coconut, olive, confectionery blends and other shortening products in heated pallecons for local or international use.
Bulk
We supply bulk oils and shortenings in road tankers, ISO-tainers or Flexi-tainers direct from our fully accredited facilities in Australia and New Zealand.
